Built with Bauer’s latest technology, Bauer Hockey is proud to introduce their next iteration in Bauer Protective with the Bauer Vapor 2X Elbow Pads. With new features and tweaks from previous models, Bauer has put out their best elbow pad yet.

Starting off with the overall design, Bauer has redone their construction and adapted their line into a 3-Piece Construction which will be much more comfortable for the player and allow for less restriction when going through the daily motions on the ice. Over top will be a molded MD foam cap to prevent injury from falling directly on your elbow.

Specifically, up on the bicep, HyperLite HD Foams are used to mold on the players arm while being highly protective from a wide range of possibilities. Down on the forearm, you will find the same HD Foams but with a PE insert which is featured in this place due to the higher risk of slashes and other incidents to occur, rather than up at the bicep which will be more flexible.

Internally, Thermo Max+ liner can be found all around the inside of the elbow pad and is designed to keep the player cool during use while being highly comfortable when wearing this piece.

On the strapping of the 2X, you will see the comfort anchor strap system that will secure the players arm inside of this piece of equipment. The straps themselves are designed to be durable from pulls and tension over time.

BAUER ELBOW PAD SIZING GUIDELINES

With your arm bent at a 90° angle, measure the length from the back of the elbow to the wrist crease. Correspond your arm measurement to an elbow pad size using the table below. If you are in between two sizes, you can choose to go with the smaller size for a better range of motion and a more snug fit. Going larger will provide you with a little more coverage in protection and more volume in the fit.

2021 Bauer Intermediate Sizing Update: If you previously wore a Bauer Junior LG Elbow Pad, select an Intermediate MD. If you previously wore a Bauer Senior SM Elbow Pad, select an Intermediate LG. Bauer designed these new Intermediate sizes to better fit the body of players between Junior and Senior sizing.
