Our Centre Ice store is open, but we’re still recommending click & collect as the best way to shop with us

 

As we move into Alert Level 2, we will re-open from Thursday 14th May with updated store hours.

Even though the threat of COVID-19 has significantly reduced following the lockdown, the safety of our customers and staff remains a strong focus for us as we reopen, so a number of changes to our usual store processes have been made:

 

Click and collect is still the recommended way to shop at Centre Ice

It’s super fast, convenient, and in the interests of health and safety minimises interaction between you and our staff in store.

If you don’t live near the store, you can shop online with courier delivery but please note Couriers are still overloaded right now so expect delays.

 

Controlled entry into stores

To ensure safe social distancing we will be limiting the number of customers who can enter our stores at one time.

 

Contact tracing

At the request of the Ministry of Health, we have implemented a zero-touch contact tracing process at our store entry points.

(Please note information collected through this process will be kept private and secure)

 

New hygiene protocols

Our stores have implemented new hygiene protocols including regularly disinfecting high contact surfaces like counters and eftpos terminals.

 

Returns and warranty

All return and warranty requests must be emailed to us first, but you can now drop off items approved.

 

Repairs and services

We recommend pre-booking service jobs via email or by phone first for things such as riveting, baking, stretching etc. It’s easier and faster, although you will still be able to head in-store and drop off your skates directly if you prefer.

We appreciate your patience as we adjust to this new way of trading under Alert Level 2. It’s now been over 6 weeks since our store has been open and we’re looking forward to seeing you in-store again and helping you with your all your hockey needs.
