The Bauer Hockey Helmet Chin Strap with Quick-Release Buckle is the replacement chin strap for the Bauer Prodigy and Re-Akt 100 Youth Helmets. Unlike traditional chin straps that just have a single snap, this comes with a quick-release buckle that makes fastening and releasing the chin strap significantly easier for young hockey players. The overall length of this chin strap is about 3″ shorter than the standard version (11″ vs 8″), therefore it should only be used on Youth or Adult XS helmets.
